💧 How much is the reimbursement?

Parkville Water District may provide reimbursement to eligible customers who complete an approved customer-owned service line repair or replacement due to leaks or failure of the service line.

Reimbursement may also be available for approved galvanized service line replacements.

The reimbursement is a one-time payment equal to 50% of the contractor’s paid invoice, not to exceed $3,800, and is subject to the availability of funds.

Parkville Water District is responsible for the service line from the water main to the curb stop. The property owner is responsible for the service line from the curb stop to the residence or building. Only repairs or replacements to the customer-owned portion of the service line are eligible for reimbursement under this program.

All reimbursement requests are subject to approval by Parkville Management and/or the Parkville Board of Directors.

If approved, Parkville Water District will provide the applicant with notification and instructions regarding the reimbursement process after the service line work has been completed.

Reimbursement payments will be issued after Parkville Water District receives a copy of the contractor’s paid invoice and any required supporting documentation.

💧 I already replaced my service line. Can I get the reimbursement?

No. Property owners must submit an application and receive approval from Parkville Water District prior to completing any service line repair or replacement work.

Only projects that have been pre-approved by Parkville Water District are eligible for reimbursement. Applicants will receive a confirmation email once their application has been reviewed and approved.

Repairs or replacements completed prior to approval are not eligible for reimbursement under this program.

💧 How long do I have to replace my service line once approved for reimbursement?

Approved service line repairs or replacements must be completed before the end of the calendar year in which the reimbursement approval was granted.

If the approved work is not completed before the end of the calendar year, the property owner must submit a new application for consideration in the following calendar year.
