Water Rates

Residential and Commercial (¾ Inch Service) :

  • Monthly charge includes Base rate + Volume Charge
  • Base Rate- $66 per month (includes first 3000 gallons)
  • ADU Base Rate- $16.50 per month
  • Charge for usages over 3000 gallons will be $6.93 per 1000 gallons of water

Commercial Rates (1-inch service and larger)

Base Rates:

  • 1-inch- Includes first 4000 gallons- $82.60 per month
  • 1 ½ inch- Includes first 4000 gallons $82.60 per month
  • 2 inch- Includes first 4000 gallons- $82.60 per month
  • 3 inch- Includes first 4000 gallons- $82.60 per month
  • 4 inch- Includes first 4000 gallons $82.60 per month

Charge for usages over 4000 gallons will be $7.58 per 1000 gallons
All “Out of District” customers will pay 1-1/2 times in District Rate.

1) A Single Family Residence (which is defined as a detached single family house with one kitchen or as an apartment, condominium unit, townhome, mobile home, etc.), is considered as one unit for all rate and fee calculations and is commonly referred to as a SINGLE FAMILY EQUIVALENT or SFE.

2) One SFE is based on a ¾ inch water meter because it is generally recognized that a ¾ inch meter provides sufficient water for indoor and outdoor use for one single family.

3) Accessory Dwelling Unit Plant Investment Fee = 0.25 SFE

4) Studio Apartment Plant Investment Fee=0.60 SFE

5) Multi-Family Plant Investment Fees for apartments, condominium units, townhomes, mobile home units etc. are based on the number of single family equivalent units (SFEs) within the structure or facility, regardless of the size of the structure or facility. In order for a unit in a Multi-family structure or facility to qualify for “One SFE”designation, said unit cannot contain more than three bedrooms and/or three full bathrooms. If a unit or units exceeds this definition the District Manager will determine an appropriate additional SFE value based on the following table:

  • Additional bedroom =0.1 SFE
  • Additional  bathroom = 0.15 SFE
  • Additional kitchen =0.15 SFE

6) Hotels, Motels, Dormitories, Bed and Breakfast etc.- In this category Plant Investment Fees are based on the number of rental guest rooms, as calculated on the following table:

  • Hotel, Motel, Dormitories, guest rooms no kitchen =0.5 SFE
  • Guest room with kitchen =0.6 SFE
  • Guest room in Bed and Breakfast =0.4 SFE
  • Management/ Operator quarters =1.0 SFE
  • Note: Additional water using features such as: swimming pools, golf courses, fountains, spas, hot tubs etc. may require an additional assessment.
